Deconstruction/Destruction

The Atheist Jackie (Jacques) Derrida "talking a little bit about the origin of Deconstruction" . This is pure "Deconstruction". This kind of thinking is applied to the "Structure" of the Bible by neo-Nazarene Postmodern "pastors".

Dr Paul Fry, teaching "Literature 300" at Yale University discussing Jackie (Jacques) Derrida and his ideas about "Deconstruction". "Deconstruction" is so convoluted that it is the only subject that takes two hours in this 25 hour series on the theories of literature. However, literature has moved on and now "Neo Pragmatism" is the darling of literary theorists.

"Deconstruction" is an issue found in many "Post Modern" situations. If you Google the two issues in the same search, you get over 540,000 hits where the two are mentioned on the same page on the internet. You can always argue about what rules are operating in life because there may be some "truth" to the proposition that we can not know the complete truth because we cannot see all things clearly. We can peek into other people's minds and into the future slightly but we can't see the whole picture. However, for many purposes, we can see enough to actually make life work for us.

"Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely." (1 Corinthians qe:12)

See the Parallel verses

Each individual is responsible for learning ENOUGH about salvation and life to secure his own Salvation:

"Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed--not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence--continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling," (Philippians 2:12)

This seeking of knowledge and acceptance of the correct rules governing what comes out of life should be done with "fear and trembling". It seems to me that Brian McLaren's rejection of the old kind of Christian beliefs and activities in favor of becoming "A New Kind of Christian" is not working out your salvation with "fear and trembling".

There have always been Christians who have rejected "modernism" and the other fads for a simple acceptanc of Biblical truths.

The object of Bible study is a search for truth. It accepts the possibility that we can not know ALL of the truth in many areas. People who claim the nebulous title of "post-modernist" AND accept "deconstruction" as expressed by Derrida, claim that one cannot know the truth and cannot communicate the truth. This is a life.: "

Derrida claims that we cannot know the truth. Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6) O the issue of "truth" (and anything else), Derrida, the author of "deconstruction" would would respond with the convoluted statement in the above video.

Post Modernism, Deconstruction and Derrida from a Buddhist Point of View

>
A Buddhist view of "Deconstruction" and "Postmodernism". Is it possible that there are Buddhists who have the same feeling of isbelief when they hear their advocates of "Deconstruction" and "Postmodernism" taking apart the "structure" of thier society as do Christians who see neo-Nazarene "Deconstructing" The Church of the Nazarene?

A Buddhist perspective on Derrida and his "Deconstrucion/Destruction". How can this atheist, Derrida, have an identical impact on Christianity and Buddhism? This is quite simple to answer if you have "deconstructed" the structue or language and have assumed that language cannot transmit truth from generation to generation and from culture to culture as somany who have chosen "Deconstruction", "Postmodernism" and "Emergent Church".

The Bottom Line

Jacques Derrida was born in Algeria. His parents loved the movie star Jackie Coogan so they named their son Jackie. He later grew up, became dignified and changed his name to Jacques.

Derrida became famous and was invited to teach at Yale University. At some point, he moved from Yale to the University of California at Irvine where he ended his career.

Deconsturction/Destruction - Legal and Medical Fields "Deconstruction/Destruction" allows people to claim rules are void for "vagueness". This they apply to legislation as well as the Bible. Nazarene eldeers who claim the Bible is "vague" and therefore not reliable using Deconstruction as the basis for their claim are violating basic Nazarene beliefs and are in a very "Deconstructive/Destructive" mode as to the "sturcture" and very existence of the Church of the Nazaaren.

Deconstruction/Destruction of Government"Deonstruction" is a buzzword that is injected into all aspects of society. "Society" itself is a structure that must be ismantled by "Deconstructionists". It's clear that proponents of "Deconstruction" are set on "Destruction" and then building their own society. It appears that any "structure" in the way of a "Deconstruction" advocate is actually facing "Destruction" at the hands of "Deconstructionsts". This is true in the Church of the Nazarene as well. A generation of pastors who have been immersed in "Deconstruction", "Post Modernism" and "Emergent Church" must promote "Deconstruction/Destruction" in any congregation they meet in order to build their own new "Deconstructed" religion.

As this works out in real life, a Post Modern Nazarene pastor must "Deconstruct " any congregation he meets. This means he must remove the people who sing "There is power, power, wonder working power ..." and replace them with a gathering that DOES NOT sing "There is power, power, wonder working power ...". This means that the "Structure" in the Church of the Nazarene is in process of being "Deconstructed/Destructed" by a whole generation of new Nazarene "Pastors".

For many "Emergent Church" people, it's as if they believe there is a "Spiritual Gift" of "Deconstruction". For many of them, they have taken on the mission of "deconstruction" in the church. They believe it's a ministrty of God. Can you imagine God sending the "Spirit of Deconstruction"?
